You will not find a finer facility or more complete selection of tennis programs anywhere in Nova Scotia. At the Waegwoltic Club we offer our members unlimited access to our seven soft courts (clay) and three hard courts, complemented by two mini tennis courts.  

Our tennis courts are the first facilities to open on the grounds of the Waegwoltic in the spring and the last to close. We have the most enthusiastic, committed members in the province!  "Until the first frost" as they say.

Tennis Academy 

A new fun way to learn, play & compete. “Progressive Tennis” is used as a developmental tool to allow young children to improve their overall tennis skills faster, so they can transition to the regular court with ease. The Waegwoltic Club offers all levels of the progressive tennis program in spring, summer and fall sessions. 

Adult Tennis Lessons & Social Matches

Join other tennis enthusiasts for co-ed tennis mixers, social ladders, recreational tournaments and lessons (private and group lessons available) from one of our seven fully-certified tennis pros. Our experienced tennis staff can get you involved in all aspects of our tennis community, and assist in achieving your goals whether social, recreational or competitive.

Distinguished Service Award

In 2013 the Waegwoltic Club received the Distinguished Service Award from Tennis Canada for the Club’s long-standing contribution to the growth and promotion of tennis in Canada. The Club has historically been dedicated to the promotion and growth of tennis in our community for all ages. Receiving this award largely speaks to the legacy the Waeg has created. With all this support, we can only imagine what the future holds!
